Lissette Llamas is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. She graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a BS in Food and Nutrition Science, and completed her dietetic internship at Sea Mar Community Health Centers. She has experience working in telehealth and working with underserved populations at a community clinic. She is passionate about using a simple individualized nutrition approach to help people improve their health and feel their best. She enjoys when her patients get excited about nutrition and develop skills to make healthier choices. She has been practicing for 5 years and her areas of expertise include diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and weight management. She has enjoyed sharing her passion in dietetics by serving as a preceptor and speaking to medical students participating in a Culinary Medicine Program. While she is away from work, she enjoys taking her dog for walks, traveling, spending time with loved ones and cycling.
